Horse stolen in Italy
(.V.Z. Press Assn—Copyright) MILAN. A thoroughbred race horse owned by Mr Nelson Bunker Hunt was kidnapped overnight from his stall at San Siro racetrack, police reported.
Carnauba, a three-year-old bay. Is the second horse to be stolen in Italy in two months. Wayne Eden, an American-bred trotter, was taken on August 16 and released three weeks later. Police said unknown persons had forced their way into Carnauba’s stall and took the horse away. Camauba’s disappearance was discovered by its trainer. Carnauba was rated as one of the best three-year-olds on the , Italian circuit. The horse won an estimated Soo.OOO
