Police hold N.Z. man in Sydney
(N.Z: Prets Attn—Copyright) SYDNEY, Oct. 5. A Dutchman from New Zealand has been arrested in Sydney in connection with the theft of $13,000 in Auckland last month. James Daemar, aged 31. was detained in King’s Cross today at the request of the New Zealand police. A police spokesman said Daemar has been remanded in custody to appear in court in Sydney on Tuesday, when he w'as expected to be extradited to New Zealand. The alleged theft Involves the proceeds of the “Miss International” beauty contest in New Zealand.,
