Lamb sales

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The Meat Board today set a target of 30 per cent of lamb sales away from the United Kingdom market for the 1975-76 season. The target for last season was 29 per cent. Exporters failing to achieve the 30 per cent, target will be penalised 2.2 c a kilogram, but those exceeding it will earn a bonus of 0.5 c a kilogram. Diversification of lamb sales away from the United Kingdom market was introduced in the 1966-67 season, with a target of 10 per cent.
