Miss Nutt injured

The distinguished golfing administrative career of Miss E_ M. B. Nutt came to a sad end recently. Miss Nutt, the president of the New Zealand Ladies' Golf Union, and also a national executive member for 27 years, was on her way to her final annual meeting, and also the Tasman Cup match, when she broke her leg. The accident happened on the tarmac at Christchurch Airport moments before Miss Nutt was due to leave. One of the most influential figures in women's golf in this country . Miss Nutt is a former noted player and more recently a non-playing captain of national teams.
