Life Savers cuts div.
The group net profit of Life Savers (Australasia), Ltd, confectioner, fell 34 per cent to $A833,812, and the annual dividend rate has been cut from 15c a share to 10c a share. However, sales rose 20 per cent to $24.1m. The result was after providing $20,011 more for depreciation at $450,498 and $58,373 on buildings (nil last year). The tax provision rose $468,348 to sl.lm.
