Journalist named
The journalist asked by the Tea Council of New Zealand to investigate state- ' tnents made by CORSO > about the tea industry in Sri Lanka is Mr T. Bell, of Auckland. The chairman of the council (Mr A Moore) announced last week that a journalist had been asked to make an “urgent and impartial” investigation to determine the reliability of certain allegations made by CORSO. At that time the journalist was not named. Mrj Moore said that Mr Bell's report would be made available to representatives of the Government of Sri Lanka before it was published. It would then be released to the New Zealand Press Association, and copies would be sent to the Prime Minister (Mr Rowling) and the Leader of The Opposition (Mr Muldoon), as patrons of rnccn
