‘Police Woman’
“Police Woman,” a realistic series which dramatizes the growing use of femak police officers in law enforcement, will begin on TVI on Friday at 9.30 p.m. The series, which originated as a spin-off of a "Police Story” episode, is the first to give viewers a
look at what a policewoma is and how she works in i predominantly male busi ness. Angie Dickinson stars ai Sergeant Pepper Anderson, a member of Criminal Conspiracy Investigations. Joining her as undercover partner is Earl Holliman as Sergeant Bill Crowley. The undercover unit operates as a four-person team The other two members o! the team are Charlie Dierkip as Royster and Ed Bernard as Styles. The executive producer, David Gerber, signed on an Emmy winner, Doug Benton (known for his work on the “Columbo” series) to produce the series. A senior police department officer from one of the major cities in America acted as a creative consultant and provided actual case reports on which the various episodes are based.
