Five year sentence
'N.7.. Press Associationi | HAMILTON, October 1. A Kawerau plant manager, Charles Henry Smith, aged 48, was sentenced to five years gaol when he appeared in the Hamilton Supreme Court today on a. charge of stealing property worth $141,558 belonging to his employer. Smith was earlier found guilty by a jury in the Rotorua Supreme Court of stealing the property from Tascor (N.Z.) Ltd at Kawerau since 1967.
