Part recovery of stolen film

(N.Z.P.A.Reuter—Copyright) ROME, October 1.

Some of the stolen negatives of Federico Fellini's new film, “Casanova,” have been found in a box in the garden of the production company’s offices. The returned film showed only minor scenes, and may have been left by the thieves to prove that they still held the other negatives.

All the first scenes of “Casanova,” which is being made in Rome, were among 74 cans of film stolen from a Rome processing laboratory in August. It has been suggested that the thieves might hold the negatives for ransom
