This Centre will work with people with dependency problems in close co-operation with hospital facilities and other organisations involved in this field.
The particular emphasis of the Centre will be on initial assessment, family involvement and post-treatment rehabilitation work in a broad social approach. There will be opportunity for group work. Applications are invited from professionally trained and experienced social workers. Experience in this particular field, whilst desirable, is not essential, but this position is only suitable for a fully qualified social worker with some years’ experience. It will provide an opportunity for initiating an interesting new co-operative centre. Salaries and conditions of employment equivalent to Public Service Social work.
