(Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, Sept 30. The Government had approved the allocation of an additional ssm to the National Roads Board to offset an expected reduction in income derived from petrol tax this year, the Minister of Works and Development, (Mr Connelly) announced today. “With the provision of $11.35m announced in the Budget, this makes a total of $16.35m that the Government has made available to the board in the current year,” said Mr Connelly. “The Government recognised that the National Roads Board’s revenue was largely derived • from petrol tax. “At its next meeting, on October 15, the board would consider how the additional ssm should be allocated.
