(N.Z.P.A.Reuter —Copyright; WASHINGTON, Sept. 25. Mrs Betty Ford has expressed doubts for the first time about her husband’s travel plans after two assassination attempts against him in 17 days. Mrs Ford said yesterday that she favoured the President’s views on public appearances, but wished that he would “stay away from the people.” Speaking at a White House ceremony where she recived an award from a woman’s stockbroker organisation, she suggested that his travel plans should be curtailed, but she did not elaborate.
