Daily volume
A total of 139,800 shares was sold on the New Zealand sharemarket yesterday, 70,700 fewer than on Wednesday. Industrial issues totalled 138,000 (Wednesday 195,100) and mining/oil 1800 (Wednesday 15,400). A total of 84 New Zealand issues was traded.
