JAPANESE SALES
Toyota vehicle production in August was up 41 per cent on the figure for the same month last year, the company has announced. During the month the Japanese makers to show increases in their newvehicle registrations were Toyota, Datsun, Hino and Isuzu; all others were down slightly, as were total registrations.
