Fine year for A. and B.
The group net profit of Andrews and Beaven, Ltd, rose 18.1 per cent to $1,214,742 In the year to June 30, the directors announced yesterday in a brief preliminary report Sales for the year increased 19.5 per cent to almost $32 million. Trading was continuing at this level, the directors said, and at this early stage in the new financial year prospects appear encouraging. They recommended a final dividend of 6 per cent, making an unchanged total of 11 per cent for the year. It will be paid on November 6, ex October 27.
