Ministers reinstated

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND.

Two of three Anglican ministers from Mangere who had their licences revoked in a conflict over the South Auckland J. Team last month have been reinstated.

The Rev. M. C. Morgan and the Rev. W. R. Te Haara have been appointed priest members of the Team’s ministry in the Mangere Mission district.. The third minister to lose his licence, Mr M. Drysdale, is at present working in the Mangere East area, which is to be declared a separate parish. It is not yet known who will be selected as vicar to Mangere East. The licences were revoked as a result of a conflict within the parish about the use of Selwyn Churc-i hv the South Auckland J Team. Many parishioners felt tnat the property should be avail-i able for use by the church at all times. The Rev. Te Haara will continue to serve as a member of the J Team.
