Pilots angered
Italy’s airline pilots have announced an indefinite campaign of wildcat walk-outs, having rejected a proposal by the Government for a solution to their dispute with Fulat, the largest union in the civil aviation industry. Fulat has been pressing for a single labour contract to cover the whole industry, but the pilots’ union says it has been signing its own contracts for pilots for the last 23 years, and claims the constitutional right to go on doing so. — Rome.
