Skelton to ride
Tire North Island horseman, Bill Skelton and Jim Walker, will come south to ride at Ashburton tomorrow. Skelton’s mounts, which have been arranged by the Ashburton trainer Jim Lalor, are Butch, Bell Rock, Inn Keeper, Tuttasi, Gotta Go, Greek Prince. Kowhai Glen and Nesaru or Thor. Walker will ride members of Pat Corboy’s Washdyke team. His mounts include Good Nip, Grey Way, Doreen Mary, Rulaway and Grey Commond. Other riding engagements include:— E.
