*X.Z. Prexs Amhm talionf WELLINGTON, Sept. 4. The Bank of New Zealand building in Willis Street, Wellington, wilt now be 30 storeys instead of 31, as originally proposed. This is one of a number of “small refinements” made to the plan in an attempt to lessen the wind-tunnel effect A wind-tunnel test, released by the Ministry of Works two months ago, indicated that the wind generated by the 31storey building would be strong enough to blow over pedestrians for at least 50 hours a year. However, the building, which will have three floors underground, will be basically the same as the model used in the tests, according to a bank spokesman
