r.VZ Press Assn—Copyright) PORT MORESBY. Aug. 27. The Papua New Guinea Government has signed a SlOm timber-development agreement with a Hong Kong-based company, Sagarai Lumber, an offshoot of the Knightbridge Company.

The agreement is to develop a 160,000-hectare area in Milne Bay and central district.

The forest is estimated to contain 3.4 million cubic metres of logs suitable for sawn timber and veneer, and about 4 million cubic metres of pulp wood.
