Special on singers

The Temptations, one of America’s leading vocal groups, has been signed up for a TV2 special during its visit to New Zealand next month.

The channel’s head of entertainment (Mr Bryan Easte) has completed negotiations with the promoters, Russell Clark and Benny Levin.

The group will be in Auckland for a single concert at the Town Hall on September 16. All five male singers are vocalists in their own right. The Temptations have notched up 37 gold discs over the past 12 years.
