MARKET FIRM ON LOWER VOLUME
Share prices on the New Zealand market firmed a little yesterday — for the first time in virtually two weeks. Trading was moderately active. Falls just shaded rises, but market leaders were prominent among the rises, giving the market a firmer tone. Most changes were small; the best gains were byMount Cook and Group Rentals. The latter rose to 410 c, the price believed to be offered by General Finance.
