Property fetches $45,000

A modern, threebedroom, centrally heated house on St Andrews Hill has been sold by public auction for $45,000. The 30.3 perch property at! 9 Marama Crescent was of- j fered with some furniture 'and effects. Bidding began at the recent Government valuation of 840.000 and rose in bids of !$lOOO. The auctioneer was Mr E. G. Keenan, of Binns, Barber j and Keenan, Ltd. A two-bedroom ownership flat at 429 A Barrington Street, Spreydon, with a 1974 Government valuation of $15,000, was passed in at $18,250. The auctioneer was Mr P. J. Cook, of Simes and Company An industrial section of 25.25 perches at 328 St Asaph Street was also passed in. The 1975 Government valuation is $30,500, but only one Ibid, of $15,000, was received. !The auctioneer was Mr C. I Robertson, of Sherris and 'Wilson, Ltd.
