RHODESIA WINS GOLF

(N.Z.P.A. Reuter—Copyright) BOGOTA. Denis Watson, aged 19, of Rhodesia, won the Rincon Cup individual golf title when he completed the fourth round with a two-under-par 70 for a total of 281. His team-mate, George Harvey, finished the final round on 74 to give Rhodesia the team cup with a total of 573. Jan Rube, of Sweden, returned a 70 to take second place with 286, and Coen Dreyer of South Africa finished two strokes behind to come third with 288. Rube team-mate, Bob Baeckstedt, had 297 for the four rounds to give Sweden second place in the pairs cup, 10 points behind Rhodesia. Brazil was third with 588. Rodney Baritrop (76, 70, 77, 75) and Ted McDougal (77, 73, 72, 76) from New Zealand both finished on 298 in sixth place.

Ski-lng.—The Australian squad from which Australia’s team for the Winter Olympics in Inns truck next February will be chosen is Kim Clifford and David Griff (N.S.W.), Manfred Grabler, Anthony Guss, Doug McConville, Robbie Mclntyre, Joanne Henke and Sally Rodd (all Victoria). The squad will train in Europe during the .northern winter.
