The latest dates that surface mail can be posted to certain African countries from the Chief Post Office, in Christchurch, for preChristmas delivery, have been announced. The dates and times for letters and greeting cards appear below with the dates and times for packets and. parcels in brackets.— Nigeria: August 22, 2 p.m. (August 21, 10 a.m.): Rhodesia: September 22. 2 p.m. (September 19, 10 a.m.); South Africa: November 3,2 j p.m. (October 31. 10 a.m.).
