Markets drift on low sales ' Share prices on Wall 'Street last week drifted in a (widely scattered pattern, amid continuing worries about inflation and rising interest rates. Analysts said it appeared many investors were simply I holding back until they could see more definite evidence of the future course .of inflation and interest 'rates, and their potential (influence on the economy’s lability to rebound from the 'recession. The Dow Jones industrial average closed for the week at 817.74 — a loss of almost 9 points. Trading volumes were low. Closing prices on Friday of a selection of issues were:-
