The full-back, Valita Ma’ake, was the Tongan's top scorer on their New Zealand tour with 46 points. He kicked 17 con-
versions and four penalty goals. Sione Mafl was next on the list, with five tries, three conversions and three penalty goals, for a total of 35. Heading the try-scorers was Talilotu Ngaluafe, with seven, followed by Sami Latu, six, and Mafi and Tali Kavapalu, each five. The Tongans scored 50 tries, and had 32 scored against them.
