Car crashes into house

The occupants of a house on the comer of Worcester and Barbadoes streets were awakened violently just before midnight on Thursday when a car that had been .in a collision with another skidded off the road and rammed the side of the building. The car smashed a large hole in the house, and bricks and broken glass were scattered over the footpath. One of the drivers was injured. He is Kim Lafferty, aged 19, of Price Place, North Linwood. He was admitted to hospital with head injuries, and was in a satisfactory condition last night. No-one in the house was injured. The damage was confined to the sun-porch.
