Fay Thompson for England
A Television Two reporter. Fay Thompson will leave soon for Britain. She said yesterday she would like to work in television but her plans are for a working holiday. Fay, aged 21, has worked in radio and television for about four years, including a stint with Station 2ZM, Nelson. She was a member of “The South Tonight” team. She was born in Ghana and before coming to New Zealand at the age of seven travelled around Africa and the Middle East with her parents. Her father is an air traffic controller. i Reprisal One of Ankara’s best restaurants, the Washington, has changed its name to the Kristal because of the United States embargo on I arms to Turkey. — Ankara.
