The New Zealand netball selectors have stuck very much to established players in naming their side for the fourth world tournament — in Auckland from August 22 to September 4. All 10 players named after two days of trials in Palmerston North went to England last year. The team is: Maxine Blomquist (Canterbury), Beth Carnie (Wellington), Frances Granger (Canterbury), Lynette Gunson (Auckland), Shirley Langrope (Auckland, captain), Marilyn Munro (Wellington), Christine Pietzener (Canterbun’), Georgina Salter (Otago), Anne Taylor (Matamata), and Yvonne Willering (Auckland). The coach of the side is Mrs Lois Muir (Otago), and the manager Mrs Dorreen Iles (Southland). Both are selector*.
