PENALTY TAKERS
Robert Clark (Technical) and Gordon Fraser (Rangiora), each scoring five out of six, vesterday qualified for the final of “The Press” junior soccer penalty-taking competition. After the second semi-final at Queen Elizabeth II Park yesterday, they led the six bovs seeking the three places in’the final on September 6. Stephen Fletcher (Shamrock), with three out of six, was eliminated yesterday. The first semi-final, in which Adi Gyori (Rangers), Paul Beedies (Christchurch United), and Stephen Reeves (Hombv) all scored four out of six,’ will be replayed on Sunday, August 17, when Christchurch United and Mount Wellington meet in a semi-final of the Lion Chatham Cup at Queen Elizabeth Il Park.
