Picketers will protest today against the proposed mining and export to Japan of coal from Mount Davy. 1 The Campaign Against Foreign Control in New Zea land was organising the I picket to bring pressure on I the Christchurch Trades Council to make a stand on the issue, said a spokesman ■for C.A F.C.1.N.Z.. Mr Bill Rosenberg, yesterday. i Just as the trade-union (movement made a strong stand when part of the dairy ' processing industry was about to be sold to the Kraft 'Corporation, so it ahould (protest in this case : The picketing will be from 'noon to 2 p.m outside the Trades Hall in Gloucester Street.
