COBBANS SEIBEL-54 The Seibel vine is a cross between the European Vinifera and American varieties, first bred by the Frenchman of the same name. Seibel-54 is a semi-dry red table wine made from selected Seibel 5455 and 5437 grapes grown on the Gisborne estates. Fermentation under controlled temperatures and a slight!' lower alcoholic strength than most other red wines has produced a wine with a little residual sweetness and an unusually soft, low acid finish on the palate. Not too dry, Seibel-54 suits most palates and can be enjoved with all meals. Seibel-54, available m 750 ml size and 2 litre Corbans Carafes. is best served at 15°C.
