TV2 RECEPTION

Engineers of the Broadcasting Council have prepared this map, on which the shaded sector indicates the area of Television Two reception of variable quality. Some viewers in this area will be able to receive a good picture, but others will receive a picture of poorer quality. Picture quality may vary from night to night. The main impairment is ghosting. The use of properly installed outside aerials will help to reduce the amount of ghosting, but its complete eradication is unlikely. In a few instances the picture will be scrambled, and in others there may be no colour. Television One reception is not affected, and viewers outside the shaded

area should receive TV2 pictures of good quality.
