NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE RATES: It is hereby publicly : notified that it is the intention of the Riccarton Borough Council at the next Ordinary Meelng of the Council to be held on Tuesday, Julv 22. 1975, In the Council Chambers, 199 Clarence Street, Riccarton, to make and levy the under mentioned rates unon the Land Rateable Value of all Rateable Pronertles appearing In the Valuation Rolls now in force in the Borough for the period April 1, 1975, to March 31. 1976. 1. GENERAL RATE: A General Rate of one decimal two nine one (1.291) cents in the dollar made under the provisions of Sections 90 and 95 of the “Municioal Corporations Act, 1954.” of the “Riccarton Bush Amendment Act 1964.” the “Canterbury Museum Trust B-ard Act 1947.” and the “Rating Act 1967.” for various municipal purposes and to meet contributions payable to various local authorities. 12. WATER RATE: ; (a) As to those lands and buildings to which water is sunplied a Water Rate of decimal Two Five Eight (.258) cents in the dollar with a minimum of Six dollars <s6). (b) As to those lands and buildings to which water could be, but is not sunnlied situated within 100 yards of the waterworks, a rate of one half of the above with a minimum of Three dollars ($3). 3. OTHER RATES:

(a) Christchurch Drainage Board, and (b) Christchurch Transport Board. The Rates to he made by Special Order of the respective Boards on the Capital Rateable Values of the Borough will also be collected by the Council. (c) North Canterbury Catchment Board.
