Pilots defer boycott

(NZ. Press Association) WELLINGTON. A boycott by topdressing pilots against flying from fields without suitable fertiliser storage facilities had been postponed from June 30 to December 31, said the president of the Agricultural Pilots Association (Mr R. E. McDowell). In 1973 the association decided not to fly after June, 1975, from fields not having concrete pads and shelter to keep fertiliser from deteriorating. Mr McDowell said the postponement was in line with the Budget extension of the subsidy for topdressing.
