Mr Quinn has entered a 12minute film entitled “The Red Button.” It features a former CHTV3 “Focus” reporter, John Gatfield, and the narration is by Rodney Bryant. The camera work and visual effects emphasise the nuclear devastation the film finally reveals. Mr Sedgley’s entry lasts seven minutes and is called “From Darkness Into Light— Again?” which was filmed partly by Mr Quinn and edited fully by Mr Sedgley. The film offers sharp contrasts between old World War II footage and scenes |of now disused gun emplace|ments around Banks Penin-> Isuia. Emphasis is provided ;by the music of Eumir Deo- : dato.
