Dozens of screaming — some hysterical — teeny-boppers greeted their idol, rock star Gary Glitter, at Christchurch Airport yesterday afternoon.
Two hefty security men were needed to cut a swathe through the fans to a waiting car. But even their efforts did not prevent Gary’s fur coat 'from being ripped.
