A total of 284,750 shares was sold on New' Zealand stock exchanges yesterday, 29,100 fewer than on Tuesday. Industrial issues totalled 272,450 (Tuesday 303,350) and mining/oil issues 12,300 (Tuesday 10,500). One hundreds and seventeen Neu' Zealand issues were traded. The five most active stocks were:
