Elderly man injured
! An elderly man yesterday (suffered head and chest injuries and lacerations when he was hit by a truck on the comer of Papanui Road and Hawthorne Street, just after i 4 p.m. Arthur Sullivan, aged 80, lof 78 Watford Street, Papa|nui, was taken to Christ;church Hospital by St John 'Ambulance and admitted. His 'condition last evening was 'described as fair.
