Henry Berry had very good year
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND. Henry Berry. Ltd. merchant and catering supplier, had a 31.8 per cent profit increase on sales 16.6 per cent higher in the vear to March 31.
The net trading profit for: the year was a record .$334,045, $80,676 above the I previous year’s figure. Turnover rose from) $10,437,977 to $12,165,494. A final dividend of 8 percent (6 per cent last year) is I recommended making a total i of 14 per cent (14c a share)! for the year. This is equivalent to 16.87 per cent on, capital before the one-for-five bonus issue.
