Drug bill killed

The New Hampshire Senate has killed a bill which would have made legal the possession of small amounts of marijuana. The bill would have reduced possession of less than one ounce of that type of drug from a misdemeanour to a violation — similar to a traffic citation. Possession of up to 11b would have been reduced from a felony to a misdemeanour, and possession of more than lib would have remained a felony. — Concord, May 31.
