Hit-and-run driver
Sir. — In the vain hope: that the driver of a large: blue-fawn car sees this letter, he will feel ashamed at hisj callous attitude as a result! of his speeding along Maids-; tone Road about 4.45 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. He hit and badly injured a large golden Labrador dog which later died. It was, however, heartwarming to see several young people get help and give assistance. This “hit-and-run” type will be recognised should he venture this way again. — Yours: etc ONE EYE-WITNESS, i May 30, 1975.
