Sir, —For many years the 1 YA radio stations have given; i a report on the wool sales'( as they occtir in the midday ] news broadcasts. On Friday ! last 27,600 bales of wool ■ were sold in Christchurch,! ■' realising, at a guess, in) 1 excess of $4,000,000. Could ' the broadcasting staff pause ( in their ideological efforts 1 occasionally, and give some.; actual service such as we re- ;' ceived in former years?—!' Yours, etc., J. D. O’REGAN.
