1 The Ashburton Toastmistress Club will be-! ; come an official member , of the Sout h Island Association of Toastie mistress Clubs on June j!23 at a charter presentation. Two founders of the Ash-; burton club, Olwen Norton, . and Jeanette Borell, of Ti- : maru, will present the char■:ter. Olwen Norton is the) I South Island co-ordinator for:
; accrediting new toastmistiress clubs. i Grace Green, of Christchurch, a pioneer in broad- ; casting, will be the guest : speaker for the evening. The Ashburton club began iin February this year and has a meeting twice a ! month.
