DES BRITTEN The time Des Britten takes to demonstrate his cooking techniques gives me the opportunity to wash up the dinner dishes without feeling I am missing something on television. I can listen to his recipes, which are good, without having to watch him any more. The consenus of opinion in our family is that Des Britten is crude in his presentation. Does he have to handle the different ingredients so much when kitchen utensils should be used? He licks his fingers and doesn’t always wash them before handling other foods.
