Duties; Work will involve investigating the effect of cropping and other farming practices on general physical properties of soils, particularly in regard to modification of structure and development of roots. There will also be the opportunity of studying soil-water interaction in irrigation trials and its impact on physical processes such as aeration and heat transfer. Appointee will be required to work in close co-operation with scientists conducting field trials. Qualifications: Honours degree in physics or soil physics with appropriate subjects.
