A complaint against an offi- . cer of the Seamen’s Union , for failing to comply with a .Shipping Industry Tribunal - direction on April 3 was disi missed in the Auckland Magistrate’s Court today. The Ministry of Transport had made the complaint (against John O’Neill for! I allegedly failing to call a (crew for the Union Steam I Ship Company vessel Karepo, as directed by the tribunal, >He denied the charge. ! Mr H. K. C. Steele, for the] : Ministry, told Mr W. J. Mitjchell, S.M., that he did not I wish to call evidence because of the Ministry’s decision not to appeal against an earlier ruling by the Court dismissing a similar complaint.
