Cheque for Red Cross
A cheque for $7OO will be handed to the Red Cross society by the proprietors of the Kaikanui Hotel, Kaiapoi (Mr and Mrs R. Dench) tomorrow.
The money, the proceeds from raffles run at the hotel will be used to furnish a room at the Red Cross Lodge, Kaiapoi. The lodge is expected to be opened in mid-June.
