Canterbury tournament this week. Pool was first with six 'points and a half from a possible seven. John Aturrav (Middlesex!. has claimed the world record for the number of I catches in a first-class career. Hp has taken 1236, beating the 36- | year-old record of Herbet StrudI wick (Surrey).
